Privacy policy.
This site collects as little as possible. We set no cookies, run no analytics, and load nothing from third-party servers. The only personal data we handle is what you choose to send us through the pitch form.

Who is responsible for your data
miraventures ApS (CVR 46517431), Åbenråvej 10, 4200 Slagelse, Denmark, is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.
For any question about this policy or your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
What you type into the pitch form. The form asks for your name, your work email address, optionally your company or website, and a free-text description of what you are building. We receive exactly those fields and nothing more — there is no hidden profiling, scoring or enrichment.
Technical server logs. Like any website, ours is served by infrastructure that records standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser user-agent. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a picture of you.
We do not collect special-category data, and we ask you not to send any through the form.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To read and answer your pitch. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in assessing investment and build opportunities (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the site available and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting our own website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who else sees it
Your pitch is read by the Miraventures team. To make that possible we rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under written terms:
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider — Serves this website and keeps short-lived technical server logs. (European Union)
Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, that transfer is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid order from a competent authority.
How long we keep it
If we do not take a pitch forward, we delete it within 24 months of the last contact. If a conversation turns into a working relationship, we keep the correspondence for as long as that relationship lasts and for the period Danish bookkeeping and company law requires afterwards.
Technical server logs are short-lived and retained only as long as our infrastructure provider’s standard log retention.
You can ask us to delete your pitch at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data deleted.
- Ask us to restrict how we use your data.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. Exercising these rights is free.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you are entitled to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby — datatilsynet.dk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party scripts or tracking pixels. Our fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, so loading a page sends no request to any third party. That is why you were not shown a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
The full detail is on our cookie policy.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and pitch submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. Access to submissions is limited to the people at Miraventures who need to read them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential material, credentials or anything you would not want read by more than one person through the form — send a link we can request access to instead.
Children
This site is aimed at founders and businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and move the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
